Ideal season for the tour
The best time to visit Myanmar/Burma is the winter season that lasts from November to February.It can get crowded over this season so also consider the rainy season for the best time to visit, especially if you’re intending to visit areas in and around Mandalay and Bagan.
The worst time to visit the central regions of Myanmar/Burma is during March, April and May as temperatures can rise to over 40°C.

Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival Yangon
Yangon, formerly Rangoon is Myanmar's capital and largest city.
- Upon arrival, the tour leader will welcome you at Yangon International Airport.
- A brief orientation about tour program will be discussed.
- Transfer to a restaurant for lunch and check-in at the hotel.
- Visit the Botahtaung Pagoda – a combination of stupa and temple, Sule Pagoda – the landmark of Yangon City Center with a 2000-year-old golden temple, Chaukhtagyi Reclining Buddha - which is 213 feet long and the Shwedagon Pagoda – the most sacred site with 27 metric tons of gold leaf, along with thousands of diamonds and other gems.
- Dinner at a local restaurant.
- Overnight in Yangon.
Day 2: Yangon –> Inle
Inle is known for its freshwater lake which is the second largest lake in Myanmar.
- After breakfast, transfer to the airport for the flight from Yangon to Heho.
- Upon arrival, transfer to hotel for check-in.
- Take a boat excursion on the Inle Lake.
- Visit the Inthein Village - known for its hundreds of ancient pagodas of many shapes and sizes in various states of ruin.
- See the floating and villages, and the Lotus petal robe and silk weaving looms at Inn Paw Khone Village.
- Lunch at local restaurant.
- Continue to Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda – 5 ancient Buddha images enshrined within a huge tiered pagoda, and to the Jumping Cat Monastery renowned for its jumping cats, trained to leap through hoops during the slow hours between scripture recitals.
- On the way, visit Nyaung Ohak and Shwe Inn Thein pagoda as well.
- Dinner at local restaurant.
- Overnight in Inle
Day 3: Inle–> Bagan
Bagan is an ancient city located in the Mandalay Region of Myanmar and is known for its more than 2,000 Buddhist monuments that tower over the green plains.
- After breakfast, transfer to the airport for the flight from Ingle to Bagan.
- After arrival, check-in to the hotel
- After lunch, take a horse carriage sightseeing tour to one of Asia’s archaeological sites in Bagan and visit the Myazedi or Emerald Stupa, the oldest surviving stone inscriptions and Manuha – three images of seated Buddhas and an image of Buddha entering nirvana.
- Explore some of the most beautiful an historically significant temples such as Shwezigon Pagoda and Gubyaukyi.
- Explore Dhammayangyi - the largest and widest temple in Bagan.
- Visit Ananda – a fusion of Mon and Indian style of architecture and Thatbyinnyu Temple – the tallest temple in Bagan.
- Watch the eye-catching and astounding beauty of the sunset over the plains of Bagan
- Dinner at a local restaurant.
- Overnight in Bagan
Day 4: Bagan–> Mandalay
Mandalay is the second-largest city and the former royal capital in northern Myanmar (formerly Burma) on the Irrawaddy River
- After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to Bagan Airport for the flight to Mandalay.
- On arrival at Bagan, transfer to the hotel for check-in.
- Lunch at a local restaurant.
- Visit the Royal Palace and understand about the last dynasty of Myanmar as well as the stories of King Mingdon and King Thibaw.
- Visit the 138-years old Shwe Nan Daw Monastery (Golden Palace Monastery) famous for its wooden ornaments and sculptures, teak-carvings, gold-plated buildings, and architecture.
- On the way to Mandalay hill, visit the Kuthodaw Pagoda also called “the world’s largest book”, named after the 729 marble slabs inscribed with Buddhist teachings.
- Next destination is the Mandalay Hill from where you can see a panoramic view of the city.
- Enjoy the sunset from the hill.
- Dinner at local restaurant.
- Overnight in Mandalay
Day 5: Mandalay–>Sagaing–>Innwa
- After breakfast, visit the Mahamuni Temple-the Buddha statue, highly venerated in Burma, is covered with 6.7 tons of gold and has a lumpy texture.
- Proceed to Mahagandayone where more than a thousand monks and novices live and study the Buddha’s doctrine. Observe the way of life and meal processions in silence.
- Wander the grounds around the world’s longest and oldest teak wood bridge, called U Bein Bridge, which is more than 2 centuries old and 1.2km in length.
- Continue to Sagaing, one of the most vital religious centers
- Lunch at local restaurant.
- Visit the silver smiting workshop and head to the U Min Thonze Caves. where you will find the crescent-shaped colonnade of 45 Buddha Statues representing the 45 years of his life.
- Explore Soon Oo Ponnya Shin Pagoda one of the oldest–and from all appearances, richest–of the many pagodas in Sagaing
- Overnight at Mandalay
Day 6: Mandalay–>Yangon
- After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to Mandalay Airport
- Fly to Yangon and from there catch the flight back home.

- 16 to 30 Days prior to departure - 40% of Package Cost
- Less than 24 hrs to 15 Days prior to departure - 100% of Package Cost.
