This Boutique Homestay In Almora is a renovated old house with two floors of space to accommodate you. The rugged structure has been built from locally sourced materials such as wood, mud, and stone. The design of the building is similar to the village structures of yore. This helps the building retain warmth in the winters and stay cool during the summer.
The dining area at this Boutique Homestay In Almora is where you can enjoy all your meals. The menu includes popular dishes from the local Pahari cuisine. The open sides of the dining space let you feast upon the stunning views of the surrounding forest, the mountains, and the villages. You can also enjoy the warm bonfires on chilly evenings during your stay here. Make sure you go on some guided nature walks, hikes, and bird safaris while here. You can enjoy the stunning views of the Himalayan range, the valley, and the village from various vantage points across the property. Enjoy a hot cup of coffee or tea as you gaze upon the vistas and relish the pristine air. Go on a walking exploration of the forests with a guide for company and enjoy the warmth of a crackling bonfire in the chilly evenings.
Hike to Jageshwar Temple which is counted among one of the 12 Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva. This is one of many hiking trails in the area and passes through pine, oak, and rhododendron forests. If hiking is not something you enjoy, then you can also drive up to the temple. You can also enjoy a walk through Naikana village and see the terraced fields and traditional homes of the locals. There is also a view point to help you enjoy the sunset. The area is a haven for numerous bird species as well as varieties of butterflies and you are sure to spot a great many of these.
