About Rann Utsav
The Rann of Kutch is a salt marshland which is part of the Thar Desert in Gujarat, bordering the Sindh province of Pakistan. This salt desert is one of the largest in the world and is made of The Great Rann of Kutch, the Little Rann of Kutch and the Banni grasslands. The ‘Rann Utsav Festival’ is a unique celebration of the vibrant cultural heritage of the region hosted by the Government of Gujarat. This event is a great opportunity for visitors to get some firsthand knowledge about the traditions, crafts, and hospitality of the Kutchi people.
