Situated only two kilometers from the famous Bhim Tal Lake of Nainital, this bungalow sits in the middle of an expanse of deodar and cypress trees.  Built on a serene hillside, it offers spectacular views of the valley below. The only sounds you will hear at this Colonial Bungalow Near Bhim Tal Lake are the melodious chirping of song birds, the call of deer, and the hoot of owls.

Once the residence of a German family, the bungalow has been constructed of stone and features the sloping roofs that are characteristic of mountain structures from the colonial era. This Colonial Bungalow Near Bhim Tal Lake retains most of its original features such as the wooden support beams, the wooden staircase, exterior stone walls, the exquisite wood beading and edging on the windows, and the Franklin stove that provides heating on cold days. A butterfly collection adorns quite a few of the walls. The kitchen at the bungalow is open all through the day and authentic Kumaoni cuisine is available here along with Continental and other Indian cuisines. The ingredients used are sourced locally and thus, are always fresh.  You can also choose to dine wherever your heart desires – indoors or outdoors.  Picnic lunches are available if you want to go exploring all day.

This Colonial Bungalow Near Bhim Tal Lake has four spacious bedrooms which are elegantly furnished. Every room comes with a wooden veranda for you to commune with nature or enjoy a book in peace. Large windows, wooden, ceiling and a fireplace enhance the charm of this bungalow. There is a common living room, a corner dining room, a library, and a cozy den stocked with board games. The perfect spot to unwind and escape the rush of tourists!

Meal Charges:

• Breakfast:   13 years +: Rs 450 per person (+ 5% taxes)  6-12 years: Rs 250 per person (+ 5% taxes)
• Lunch:   13 years +: Rs 450 per person (+ 5% taxes) 6-12 years: Rs 250 per person (+ 5% taxes)
• Dinner:  13 years +: Rs 450 per person (+ 5% taxes) 6-12 years: Rs 250 per person (+ 5% taxes)

• All bookings are tentative until 100% deposit is made. In case the payment is not received until the specified time, we shall have to release the rooms for other bookings.
• A valid government identity proof is required at the time of check-in

EARLY CHECK-IN POLICY:

• Between 9-11 am: Free (no additional costs but subject to availability)
• Between 6-9 am: 50% of the room cost
• Before 6 am: 100% of the room cost (this is called holding room from the previous day)

LATE CHECK- OUT POLICY:

• Late check-out until 1 pm: Free (no additional costs but subject to availability)
• Late check-out until 6 pm: 50% of the room cost
• Late check-out after 6 pm: 100% of the room cost (this is called holding room from the previous day)

• 61 days or more before the check-in date: 20% deduction.
• 60-31 days before the check-in date: 30% deduction.
• 30-16 days before the check-in date: 50% deduction.
• 15-06 days before the check-in date: 75% deduction.
• Within 5 days of check-in date: 90% deduction.
• No show on the date of check-in will invite 100% cancellation charges.
